Says no custodial death reported in JK since 2015

The state police chief Dr Shesh Pal Vaid on Monday said that the use of pellet guns has been minimized in Kashmir. Speaking at a seminar organized by Human rights Commission in Srinagar,. Vaid Director General of Police said that no custodial death was reported in Jammu and Kashmir since 2015. He also claimed that everyone has contributed in improving the situation in Kashmir. “No custodial death in J&K since 2015. The use of pellet guns has been minimised. Everyone has contributed in improving the situation in Kashmir. DGP @spvaid at seminar organised by Human rights commission in Srinagar,” DGP wrote on Twitter.
